Working with a very talented team, I was responsible for creating double exposure shots across five films. One of the key challenges was carefully pairing the right shots using stock footage to create emotional imagery around very delicate subject matters. The true magic of double exposure lies in how two images, when combined, can create a third, new image that adds depth and meaning to the shot, often transforming the narrative and evoking powerful emotions. This process required a keen understanding of both visual storytelling and the delicate themes we were exploring. Additionally, we used drone music to enhance the atmosphere, adding a layer of haunting, ambient sound that perfectly complemented the mood of the visuals and further deepened the emotional impact of the film and the stories being told.
